Agreement Modernisation (AMOD)
After years of work the YAC Negotiating Committee have a agreed strong proposed agreement with Rio Tinto.
This will be an Interim Modernised Agreement to lock in key terms in 2025 before finalising the agreement in 2026.

YAC CEO, Directors and Senior Managers will be travelling to meet with members to explain the modernised agreement and answer any questions before the AGM. At these meetings you will receive a clear summary of the proposed agreement.
Community Information Sessions will be hosted at 10am at:

- Tuesday 28 October Karratha Internation Hotel, Hillview Road, Karratha
- Wednesday 29 October Onslow Beach Resort, Cnr Second Ave & Third St, Onslow
- Thursday 30 October Gwoonwardu Mia, 146 Robinson St, Carnarvon
We strongly encourage all members to come along, listen, ask questions, and share your views before the decision is made at the Common Law Holders’ meeting.
