Expression of Interest Yinhawangka Director Roles

Yinhawangka Community & Social Outcomes Ltd (YCSO) is the new community and social foundation for Yinhawangka.

YCSO is looking for new passionate and enthusiastic Yinhawangka leaders to join its inaugural board of directors. There are three positions available, one for each Yinhawangka apical group.

YCSO is excited to announce the opportunity for Yinhawangka people to express their interest in joining our Board of Directors for the newly established fund.

This presents an exciting opportunity to drive new social and community development initiatives that have meaningful impact for the broader Yinhawangka community.  Fresh faces, diverse perspectives and energy is encouraged. Development and mentoring opportunities will be provided. If you have a big heart and are motivated to drive positive change, this role is for you!

YAC Living Cultures Project

Yinhawangka Aboriginal Corporation RNTBC is seeking expressions of interest from suitably qualified service providers to for services with the Yinhawangka Indigenous Living Cultures project (Living Cultures).

The Living Cultures project aims to deliver programs to enhance the practice, protection, and intergenerational sharing of Yinhawangka culture, thereby contributing towards a strong and connected Yinhawangka community. It has eight priority areas:

1. Community engagement
2. Song lines
3. Women’s business
4. Language
5. Cultural awareness and sensitivity training
6. Creative arts and culture
7. Social and emotional well-being
8. History and living heritage

Service providers may express their interest for all or one of the Priority Areas. Expressions of interest with completed Content Requirements must be emailed to hilton.gruis@yinhawangka.com.au
