On 14 August 2026, communities came together on Yinhawangka Country for the fifth year of Rowan’s Walk—raising awareness about suicide prevention and creating space for important conversations about connection, community and support.
A message from Rowan’s family
To the Rowan’s Walk Paraburdoo team, and every organisation that is playing a part in Rowan’s Walk in your community, thank you for standing beside Rowan’s Walk for five years.
Thank you for helping us share the message.
Thank you for helping create awareness.
Thank you for being willing to have the conversations that aren’t always easy.
And thank you for believing that our communities deserve better access to mental health support, stronger relationships with services and a system that listens to the people it is there to support.
We are incredibly grateful to have you walking beside us.
Five years of support.Five years of conversations.Five years of raising awareness.
And hopefully, many more years of creating change together.
With heartfelt gratitude, The Rowan’s Walk Family
Thank you for walking together
To the Paraburdoo, Tom Price, Bellary and Wakuthuni communities—and every organisation, volunteer, supporter and community member who helped make the event possible—thank you.
Every person who walked, helped, shared, listened, encouraged or simply showed up played a part.
Rowan’s Walk reminds us that no one should have to walk alone. Thank you for walking together. 💚💜
