There was plenty of laughter, conversation and good food shared at this year’s NAIDOC Elders Lunch, held on Country at the Rocklea Station Family Camp.
Hosted by Aunty Pam Condon and her family, the gathering brought Elders, community members and YAC staff together to celebrate NAIDOC Week in a relaxed and welcoming setting.
Guests enjoyed a delicious lunch, tea and coffee, while taking the opportunity to catch up with old friends, make new connections and spend time together on Country. Children kept everyone entertained throughout the day, adding plenty of smiles and energy to the gathering.
A sincere thank you goes to Aunty Pam and her family for their generous hospitality and for creating such a special space for Elders and community to come together.
Moments like these remind us that some of the most meaningful conversations happen simply by sharing a meal, spending time together and celebrating the strength of community.
