YINHAWANGKA FOUNDATION IS LOOKING FOR A COMMUNITY ADVISOR

We’re seeking expressions of interest from a Yinhawangka Man to join our team as a Community Advisor.

If you’re passionate about culture, community, and Yinhawangka ways of being and doing, this role offers the opportunity to ensure Yinhawangka culture, knowledge, and protocols guide everything we do, while supporting community-led programs and long-term nation building.

What you’ll do

  • Support the design and delivery of community-led programs that align with Yinhawangka cultural and governance priorities.
  • Work closely with Elders, community members, and partners to ensure programs are culturally grounded and community-driven.
  • Help embed Yinhawangka protocols and ways of working across Foundation programs and practices.
  • Contribute to monitoring, evaluation, and learning so we can understand impact and continuously improve.
  • Support research, policy, and strategic initiatives that advance Yinhawangka self-determination and sovereignty.
  • Build strong relationships with service providers, funders, and collaborators across the Pilbara.
