COMMUNITY OPPORTUNITY
Have your say on health services in the West Pilbara
Yinhawangka Traditional Owners are invited to consider joining the West Pilbara District Health Advisory Council (DHAC) and contributing a community voice to local health services.
District Health Advisory Councils provide an opportunity for community members and health consumers to share their experiences, priorities and perspectives with WA Country Health Service.
For Yinhawangka people, this is an opportunity to bring a Traditional Owner and community perspective to discussions about health services across the West Pilbara.
The Community and Consumer Representative application form allows people to nominate as a Health Consumer, Community Member, or both. It also includes Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people among the community groups representatives may identify with.
Who might be interested?
This opportunity may suit Yinhawangka people who are interested in:
You do not need to represent YAC as an organisation to express interest as a community representative.
