Yinhawangka Aboriginal Corporation RNTBC (YAC) has an Aboriginal Ranger Program which is funded by the Department of Biodiversity, Conservation and Attractions. The program is designed to train Yinhawangka People as Rangers on Country, supporting the implementation of the Yinhawangka Healthy Country Plan.
To deliver this program, YAC is working with On Country Academy, a Registered Training Organisation known for its innovative approaches to deliver training and career opportunities for all participants. On Country Academy’s mission is to provide participants with practical, specialised training while supporting their transition into the workforce and ongoing career development post-study.
